Parliament of the World's Religions

First held in 1893, the Parliament of the World's Religions is the world's largest interreligious gathering.

The Parliament of the World’s Religions convened in Melbourne, Australia last December. To capture the spirit and energy generated by this event and to foster interreligious cooperation, local organizers are sponsoring a Post-Parliament event for the Portland/Vancouver area:

2:00 – 5:00 pm
New Thought Center for Spiritual Living

Lake Oswego, Oregon

Join the conversation and explore ways to keep the spirit of the Parliament growing in our region, supporting relationships that can make a world of difference.

  • Parliament participants will share photos and stories from their Melbourne experience.
  • Conversation groups will explore:
    • Enhancing our faith with perspectives from other traditions.
    • Women’s leadership and the divine feminine.
    • Personal connections as a path to peace.
