Spirit Forum: “Awakening the Wisdom through Finding Stillness Within”
Posted: 01/20/11
Spirit Forum is a series of monthly brown bag lunches and intimate conversations among people of all cultures and faiths. The theme of the series is ‘Awakening the Spirit Within.’ Our intent is to discern the essence of life(Spirit) in all life so that we might develop a deeper appreciation for ourselves, our planet, its life giving resources, and all the relationships that make life so dear. Our sub-theme for the winter and spring is ‘Awakening the Healing Within — Personal, Communal and the Earth.’
February’s program is:
“Awakening the Wisdom through Finding Stillness Within”
The program will be facilitated by Rev. Genko Rainwater, Buddhist Monk from the Dharma Rain Center.
