Kevin Locke Performs in Washington County

Kevin Locke, 1990 National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellow, Lakota Flute Player/Singer/Dancer/Storyteller, who is also a Bahá’í, will be giving 5 programs during the Washington County Libraries’ Art of the Story events.
April 5, Sherwood Center for the Arts 7:00 pm: Story of Standing Rock (he was born on the Standing Rock reservation) adult program
April 6 THPRD Garden Home Rec Center 7:00 pm: Water is Life adult program
April 7 North Plains Elementary 6:30 pm: Love Stories
April 8 1-2:30 pm: Indigenous Flute Workshop – registration required
April 8 6:15 reception, 7-9:00 pm Finale Concert at Arts & Communication Magnet Academy in Beaverton: Hoop of Life.
