The celebrations of the Days of Paradise (“Ridván”), commemorating the beginning of the Baha’i Faith in 1863, continue! On Sunday, April 29, there will be Ninth Day of Ridvan activities in Beaverton, Tigard, Portland, and Wilsonville; see the details HERE.

Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, gatherings will be held in observance of the Twelfth Day of Ridvan, marking the end of that holy time when Bahá’u’lláh, in an island garden in the middle of the Tigris River, announced that He was the most recent Divine Messenger from God to all of humanity.

Dialog: “Why We Became Bahá’ís”  Friday, May 4, 7:00 pm, Bahá’í Center, 16103 Lake Forest Blvd., Lake Oswego, OR 97035.  Love interesting and inspiring stories? Come be with us! On this Friday night we’ve invited four Bahá’ís living in the Portland area to share why they joined the Bahá’í Faith. How did they learn about it? What were their first impressions? What was it about this relatively new, fairly unknown religion that spoke to them?
Through their personal stories we’ll explore different aspects of the Bahá’í Faith, with plenty of room for questions and perspectives. People of all backgrounds and beliefs are most welcome to join this evening of exploration and sharing.
We’ll have light refreshments and mingling at 7:00 pm and begin our group conversation around 7:30 pm.  For more information, please call Beth at 503-636-1674.
