Film Showing: “The Gate-Dawn of the Bahá’í Faith” 
Please join us for a screening of “The Gate: Dawn of the Bahá’í Faith,” a groundbreaking documentary that tells the amazing, true story of the Prophet Herald known as The Báb, His message, and the origins of a new era in world religion. The screening will be followed by a special Q&A with Executive Producer Steve Sarowitz and luncheon refreshments. In addition, Steve also serves as CEO of Blue Marble, an international payroll provider, and as Director of Payescape, a UK payroll provider. He is also an international philanthropist with an interest in promoting unity and promoting universal education and advocating for the elimination of racism, sexism, nationalism and religious prejudice. . .  He and his wife have a family foundation which supports over 50 worthy causes worldwide, including programs helping orphans, foster children, refugees and many other people in need. . .  Steve was raised Jewish and first heard of the Baha’i Faith at the Jewish Student Center while a student at U of I. Many years later, he began studying the Baha’i Faith and declared as a Baha’i in February 2015. Three days after declaring as a Baha’i, a friend recommended that Steve make a film about the Baha’i Faith. Steve immediately began a new career in the film industry. He helped fund and promote the documentaries He Named Me Malala and Rosenwald. Interfaith Prayers for Peace,  Tuesday, June 4, 6:30-9:30 pm, Gresham Library, 385 NW Miller Ave, Gresham, Oregon 97030.  Join the Bahá’ís of Gresham, Fairview and surrounding communities for our monthly interfaith prayer vigil at the Gresham Library. Please feel free to bring prayers, music, poetry, and other expressions of peace as we seek to build community in troubled times. Children welcome. Monthly on the first Tuesday.

Study: “The Dawn-Breakers”  Every Wednesday, 7:30-9:00 pm, 33950 SW Ladd Hill Road, Wilsonville, OR 97070.  Small group study of “The Dawn-Breakers” book: history written very soon after the tragic and triumphant beginning of the Bábí and Bahá’í Faiths.
