Faith community volunteers are stepping up and providing more service to those in need.  The 2010 Faith Forum is offering a special workshop that will focus on how we can keep our volunteers inspired and valued.

Keynote Speaker Rev. Dr. Roy Green, will invite us to explore what it means to be a compassionate community with story, teaching, personal reflection, and exploration of six sacred questions for promoting spiritual health. Three special sessions will be offered.Three special breakout sessions will be offered:

  • Nurturing Ourselves This session will offer interactive opportunities that include a brief guided meditation, using healing images to create a collage, exploring varied relaxation and healing modalities, and sharing our experiences through journaling.

  • Inspiring Our Volunteers Volunteers give their mind, body and spirit to helping our organizations function. Learn how we can honor their service and deepen their experience with inspirational tools and exercises.

  • Sustaining Our Faith Traditions Representatives from various faith traditions will share expressions of their faith that demonstrate how they sustain their spirit and enhance their service to the community.
