Over 50-60 children have participated in the readings in the past couple weeks. The program is designed for children ages 5 to 10 with readings followed by discussion, songs and games. Each session lasts for 30 to 60 minutes. Light snacks and water are provided.

Schedule Change:

The last session is July 28 - "Friendliness." There is no August 4 session.

Summer Reading Schedule

Date: July 28

Time: 11:00 am

Location: Mill Pond Park

Virtue: Cooperation

Cooperation is working together and sharing the load. When we cooperate, we join with others to do things that cannot be done alone. We are willing to follow the rules which keep everyone safe and happy. Together we can accomplish great things.

Date: August 4

Time: 11:00 am

Location: Mill Pond Park

Virtue: Friendliness

Friendliness is being a friend, through good times and bad. You take an interest in other people and make them feel welcome. You share your belongings, your time and yourself. Friendliness is the best cure for loneliness.

Come and join us for a great Summer Reading Program!
