Spirit Forum: Healing Wisdom thru Story Telling
Spirit Forum is a series of monthly brown bag lunches and intimate conversations among people of all cultures and faiths. The theme of the series is 'Awakening the Spirit Within.' Our intent is to discern the essence of life (Spirit) in all life so that we might develop a deeper appreciation for ourselves, our planet, its life giving resources, and all the relationships that make life so dear. Our sub-theme for the winter and spring is 'Awakening the Healing Within — Personal, Communal and the Earth.'
September's program is:
“Healing Wisdom thru Story Telling”
facilitated by Ms. Rivkah Coburn
A story teller once said, “The shortest path between a person and their truth is their story.” Rivkah will bring this to life for us when she weaves an ancient Hassidic tale with her own personal journey and then guides us to getting more in touch with our own story.
Rivkah is a multi-faceted healer: a certified teacher of yoga and meditation; a dancer; director of education at P'nai Or, a Jewish Kabbalah congregation; and a trained story teller. She can be contacted at 503 544-7590 and rivkah.coburn@gmail.com.
