April 20th is the first day of the twelve Ridván Holy Days, the great festival time celebrating the momentous announcement of the new message from God. Locally, there will be activities at local Bahá’í Centers. All will be most warmly welcomed to celebrate together!

Friday April 5, 7:00-10:00 pm. Bahá’í Center, 8720 N Ivanhoe St, Portland, OR 97203. Did you miss the big Portland Baha'i Center reopening? Want to see the beautiful artwork installed and the Center remodel? Join us for cards, Open Mic, or bring your own games and activities to share. Come and share your family-friendly talent! Bring a song, a story, read a poem, do a dance, show us your artwork, bring a snack to share, a game to play, or just bring yourself and all your friends! Hang out with new friends and have fun! Children and junior youth get priority for performance in the first hour.

Everyone is invited to an inter-faith Devotions at 10:30 am (this week the theme of the Devotional is Creation), followed by a Social Justice Workshop (see the photo) starting with lunch at noon.
The purpose of this workshop is to learn how to communicate more effectively in order to have a flourishing united community where everybody feels nurtured, respected, and valued. Free, no donations are accepted.
