Interfaith Devotions: Beaverton Bahá’í Center

Sun. April 6, 10:30 am. 5355 SW Murray Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97005. This week we have a special program. The WIN (Westside Interfaith Neighborhood) group will be bringing youth from some of their member churches and synagogues.

The theme is "Make Me a Servant." All religious traditions teach us that the highest station is that of servant. We should strive to serve God, our family, our fellow humans, our religion, and all life. Service helps us develop our spiritual capacities and aids the progress of our souls. The Baha'i Faith teaches that work in the spirit of service is a form of prayer. Thus the bus driver, plumber, entrepreneur, ... striving to serve is opening his/her soul to the influence of God.

Masks, social distancing, and vaccinations are recommended. There will be coffee and tea. As always at the Center there are no donations.
