Portland NW Neighborhood

Baha'is around the world are working with their neighbors to build spiritual neighborhoods. Our goal is to strengthen these communities to take charge of their own spiritual, social and intellectual development. We invite everyone interested to help build a healthy rhythm of community life that includes building friendships, gathering for devotional meetings, teaching children, channeling the energy of the junior youth into positive action and studying together to apply principle to service.

This is one of a series of articles about what is happening in neighborhoods around the Portland Metro area. Contact us to find out what is happening in your neighborhood.

On October 29, the Meshkin family hosted a Musical Devotional. Over 60 people came, including more than 20 friends of Baha'is. Musicians Henri Cross, Yohannes Murphy and Sameen Meshkin performed for the group and the interfaith readings by Nancy Puente were the highlight of the evening. Friends gathered for refreshments and socialization following the program. Stay tuned for the next one!
