April: Celebrating Days of Paradise

“Look not upon the creatures of God except with the eye of kindliness and of mercy, for Our loving providence hath pervaded all created things, and Our grace encompassed the earth and the heavens. . .”
— Baha'u'llah

April brings the “Days of Paradise” — the 12 days of celebrating the start of the Bahá’í Faith. During these days the announcement was made by the Founder Bahá’u’lláh that He was the most recent Divine Teacher from God, and the Promised One of all religions. Bahá’ís around the world will be commemorating these joyous days, and everyone is welcomed to join in, starting April 21st.

This period of time is the Promised Age, the assembling of the human race to the “Resurrection Day” and now is the great “Day of Judgment.” Soon the whole world, as in springtime, will change its garb. The turning and falling of the autumn leaves is past; the bleakness of the winter time is over. The new year hath appeared and the spiritual springtime is at hand.
— 'Abdu'l-Baha
