March Activities 2023

Our beautiful northwest spring is just around the (snowy) corner! Now, in the last month of the Bahá’í year, adult Bahá’ís 15-69 who are able, will be observing the Fast. That includes abstaining from food and drink from sunrise to sunset for 19 days. Then, at the spring equinox, the new year begins! The Fast is:

“...essentially a period of meditation and prayer, of spiritual recuperation, during which the believer must strive to make the necessary readjustments in his inner life, and to refresh and reinvigorate the spiritual forces latent in his soul. Its significance and purpose are, therefore, fundamentally spiritual in character.”
