Friends from Laos celebrate Hmong New Year
Each year during December, Portland Baha'is enjoy celebrating the Hmong New Year with friends from Laos. They have cherished memories of past celebrations with families who came from Laos in the early 1980's. This year's celebration took place on December 4, in the Airport Holiday Inn's banquet hall. With a lively program and friends from all over Portland, it was truly a joyful celebration.

13th Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service
Washington County's churches, synagogues, mosques and faith communities will hold their annual Interfaith Thanksgiving celebration on November 21. The theme of this year's service is "'Thank You' is a Mighty Powerful Prayer."
5th Annual Festival of Faith
On November 21, the Interfaith Council of Greater Portland (ICGP) will hold its annual Festival of Faith to provide a friendly, casual, civil atmosphere where people can explore the area’s different religions, get their questions answered and meet people from all different backgrounds.
